Calico provides community based entrepreneurs with a supportive and affordable launch pad for their enterprise. All ‘traders’ are low-income and usually on financial assistance. Their goal is to develop an enterprise that will improve their financial and social situation, from dependency to independence. Calico also seeks to mentor a trader to take over the administration and intake of Calico.
