Made up of two programs: !)The International Environmental Youth Corps (IEYC) is a key component of the federal government Youth Employment Strategy (YES). It is intended to help unemployed or under-employed highly qualified Canadian youth obtain critical first jobs in their area of study. 2)the 2010-2011 Science Horizons Youth Internship Program. The program offers promising young scientists and post-secondary graduates hands-on experience working on environmental projects under the mentorship and coaching of experienced scientists and program managers.
